LIMMERSKAN OCH THE GLUE MOVEMENT is an ongoing investigation of glue, togetherness, brokenness, and of the possibility to glue the broken pieces back together in another way. Limmerskan/ The Glue Girl is an alter-ego/ a shadow-self…. a myth, a game, a time-killer, a home made super-glue-hero- costume. She is the need to escape into another mode of being in this world. She is a way to get lost/ loss…..
LIMMERSKAN OCH THE GLUE MOVEMENT started out as a serie of zines and then transformed into an installation, a performance, a playlist, a glue-dinner etc etc… LIMMERSKAN OCH THE GLUE MOVEMNET relates to every piece of the project as an extended zine/zine-making. Limmerskan makes small *pieces* - suggestions that can be glued together in different ways depending on the space, the time, the audience, the mood…what ever the form, focus lies on the attempt of something. The action/ the movement/ the tactile experience and the repitative task of glueing and breaking, cutting and pasting
(The RX-glue is Limmerskans favorite glue because it hardens like glas with beautiful bubbles…when I was a child we used to pour it out for hours)

LIMMERSKAN OCH THE GLUE MOVEMENT has e.g. showed up in contexts such as SIS 2016 (Stockholms International Comic Festival) and Galleri Verkligheten in Umeå 2016.
In 2017 Limmerskan opened up her laboratory at Malmö Dockteater with the performance/ interactive installation:

THE GLUE MOVEMENT recently arranged a Glue-dinner with people who in different ways work with healing things in their profession. It became a dialogue about repair, loss, healing and breaking between a surgeon, a psychologist and a book conservator.
THE GLUE MOVEMENT is currently glueing under jord/ under ground searching for new glue-experiences and preparing for the next move...
